Our time at Cape Road had Fox Forestry preening the landscape of blowdown trees and potential dangerous trees that posed a liability to structure on the property. Various other issues were identified on site including, high density areas that had led to a high mortality rate, a non-conforming opening, and an opportunity to initiate a small scale forest management plan.
Clearing the property of blowdowns and potential blowdowns allows for the natural regeneration of the property as well as a stronger aesthetic. The non-conforming opening was completed following Maine’s shoreland regulations. The open now features compelling views of the water.
While improves to the property through forestry work were completed, a tent platform was also constructed on site to maximize comfort and accessibility, as well as, add to the property’s aesthetic.
